SEES Ph.D. student Chen Xiong has been selected as a recipient of the SEG/Henry Bates Peacock Scholarship from the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) Foundation. This scholarship provides financial support and professional recognition for students pursuing studies and careers in applied geophysics. Xiong is a member of Assistant Professor Hang Chen’s research group, where his research integrates geophysical data with hydrologic modeling to address critical environmental challenges.
