Choose the track in geographical information science
Students in the geographical information science (GIS) track learn to use large databases and remote sensing imagery, fly drones, and use spatial tools for a variety of purposes, from environmental impacts to public health management. You will be prepared to make a positive impact in the world through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates geospatial data science with social and natural sciences.
Students graduate ready to apply their spatial and systems thinking skills in the public or private sector as a GIS analyst or remote sensing analyst or to pursue graduate work in geography, planning, and other disciplines.
